Privacy Policy — HR CRM extension
Last updated: 2026-10-20
HR CRM is a browser extension for recruiters who use the HR CRM service. It adds candidate profiles that a recruiter is viewing on supported job boards into the company’s candidate management system (CRM).
What the extension collects
- Candidate profile data visible to the signed-in recruiter on the open page (name, headline, location, skills, experience, and contact details when the job board displays them), only when the recruiter explicitly clicks the “Add to HR CRM” button. Nothing is collected in the background and no browsing history is transmitted.
- Technical telemetry about the capture itself (which page fields could or could not be read, extension version) — used solely to detect job board layout changes.
What the extension does NOT do
- It does not read pages other than supported job boards.
- It does not send any data anywhere until the recruiter clicks the button.
- It does not bypass CAPTCHAs, rate limits or any access controls; it only reads what the recruiter already sees.
- It does not use cookies, advertising identifiers or third-party analytics.
Where the data goes
Captured data is sent over HTTPS exclusively to the company’s own CRM backend (the HR CRM API) and is stored there under the company’s data retention rules (candidate records: up to 24 months after the last contact). Access requires a personal recruiter account; access tokens are short-lived and revocable from the CRM at any time.
Data subject requests
Candidates may request access to or deletion of their data via the company’s standard contact channels; requests are honored by removing the candidate record from the CRM.
